Organizing committee

The Infrastructure Management Committee works to promote the MBA ‘Infrastructure Development and Management' program at one of the leading B-Schools in the country SCMHRD, Pune. It drives corporate interaction events for the students by planning, organizing, and promotion of events. The committee concentrates on different grooming activities of the IDM batch by conducting guest lectures, group discussions, case study discussions, and personal interviews while also contributing in the batch's admissions and public relations.

Adding on to the existing series of events, the committee introduced ‘I Emergence-Capitalizing on Chaos’, which focused on conducting panel discussions with the goal of bringing boardroom discussions to classrooms.

The Committee also assists students in pursuing live projects with the government and commercial sector. Our students have previously worked on renowned live projects such as the Pune Smart City Project, where they prepared a vision document for PMC in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), McKinsey & Company, Pune International Centre, FICCI, NASSCOM, MCCIA, CII, Zensar Technologies, and CDAC.

The committee also provides the batch with the opportunity to visit various sites. Recently, the batch had the chance to visit the Pune Metro site, where they gained firsthand experience and knowledge about the operational and underground construction aspects of the Pune Metro project. The committee also arranged for the students to participate in significant national events. Most recently, the students attended the Jan Bhagidari Events of the G20 Summit on Urban Infrastructure.
